And now a Federal Court wants the DOJ to look into the emails of people involved in the Bengahzi deaths. :) The order was issued by a Barry appointee ! :D What can the Dem's say now ? :'(

Sounds like a display model too me. Too much handling and things are loose. My Savage Mk II was an excellent bolt action .22. I put a Sweet 22 scope on it and it was an absolute tack driver. Only gun I ever bought from Wal-Mart and it was under $200 at the time.

Went to a gun show a couple weeks back and got a Mossberg 802 bolt action 22 with a camo stock, single mag and 4x Bushnessll  (cheapo) scope.  (dayum hate typos)

Took it to the range today first firing of it.  Shooting from a wobbly bench with a rifle I didn't know I was getting 2" groups at 50 yards and the same at 100.  But the 50 yard groups were spot on target and aim point, but the 100 yard groups were 6-7 inches low.

Same bench, same ammo, same everything.  But that far low with no touch to scope dials.

WTH is going on with this.

Also the mag is loose in the well and needs to be in the right position.  It cannot get moved over or too much hand on it or any such.  It jams more than about any other rifle I have.

I am beginning to think this is selling material.  But I really want a good 22 bolt action.

He was a Lineman for the County.  And did it very well.

He was also in True Grit.  About the best John Wayne cowboy movie ever made.

Probably photoshop but... this made me think of this thread :D

Downsizing too!  As my Y2K supplies are used up (or trashed), I am not restocking them. (However, I am restocking my 12/12/12 Mayan calendar stuff!)  :D

In the past few months, I have started to actually un-prep !  I used up a year of stocked up provisions and did not replace any for the 2019 year ( so far ).   I have heard that Three Mile Island is to be shut down in the 3-5 year(s) future, and if so, I intend to rid myself of the Bug Out Trailer and give up on acquiring of a Bug Out Location in the South.

It will be of no use to Bug Out if we have a nuclear strike from North Korea - no place will be safe.

What is promising is that a Nephew of mine and some of his family are into food prep only ( for now ). After years of talking to most of my family members, at least some thing is starting to sink into 1 of them. I think this N. Korea stuff is starting to scare them. Last time he was here he was talking about silencers, canning, ammo, reloading and generators.  When he shows up this Friday, I will enlighten him with more on prepping because he does not have a plan nor fully understand the volume of items needed for basic prepping for his family - but it is a start !

For those of us who remember him from the 70' - 80's as singer/songwriter /actor and TV Show Host. He died on Tuesday from Alzheimer's. Briefly, he out sold the Beatles in record sales.

he also was a fill in with the Beach Boy's where he got his "break through" into the record business.
