Now that's a Moped I'd be proud to be caught dead on. Of course I'd try to not get caught. Or get dead. But if I got both, I wouldn't be embarrassed to be on that bike.

For Black Ops, wouldn't you want one that ran on LP - Run Silent...Run Swift...

I wonder if they can be converted?

I'd go electric hub motor for silent running.....though charging the battery might be a chore..... if one could recharge it via a generator somewhere; it would be easier to keep battery charged....? the 50cc is a little BUZZY sounding though, but with a decent muffler set up, it would work very well.... Also, the chainrings and chain would be a little loud in a very quiet place (think woodlands and deserts..)....a belt drive similar to this would actually be a good thing.. THe only problem is the gearing, but a Rohloff multispeed hub or a similar system up front in the crank set might actually work good with the electric motor..

A novel concept and it certainly looks pretty cool but, a bit pricey for me. As far as running gear though, I'd rather have a shaft drive like this one. Unfortunately, it's a discontinued model because the company stopped making mountain bikes and now only sells road bikes.

Don't talk about what you have done (or what you
are going to do). Do it and let it speak for itself.

I looked up the weight of the thing, the basic sports version weighs 115 pounds total, so for the Black Ops version, I would guess it to be just under 150 pounds.... they did say they offer foot-peg version (no pedals) for it, which would make it more like a scooter/dirt bike.....if one were to add a shaft drive to it, that would also make it much more durable and stronger, though I am not sure of gearing. I wonder if one put on a 100CC engine without making it too heavy for it would make for a good quick dirt bike/survival bike? pedaling 100+ pounds is not a fun thing...I've tried with 50 pounds+bike& rider and got worn out and this was with MTB gearing o.O
