The official USS NCAA and NFL football thread.

To cut down on football thread clutter, post all of your comments about college/professional football in this one thread please. The season is just around the corner and I can already smell the blood. ;)

Ok, just to kick this off, I think Minnesota really ****ed up by hiring Donovan McNabb, but we'll see how he performs this year. I just hope he doesn't turn into another ***** *****. Yeah, that mans name is still a cussword in my house and doesn't need to be mentioned... EVAR! How the **** do you take a drama queen cheese head, piece of **** and try to make him a Purple People Eater? It's not possible, and I almost lost my love for the Vikings because of it.

First games tomorrow night! My Utes are moving on up to the big league! Pac-12 baby! So stoked for this college and pro season. My pre-season predictions for my teams.

Utes-9-3 with a trip to the Pac-12 championship game where they will lose to Stanford or Oregon.

Bears-another trip back to the NFC championship game and hopefully the superbowl.
Chargers-back in the playoffs this year. That's as far as I'm going with that one.

These are lofty expectations but I also think realistic.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Georgia DAWGS this season, but I am concerned about going up against Boise State out of the chute.  I'd like to see the War Eagles do well, just so that everyone knows it was not a one-man show last year (but Cam will be missed). As for NFL, I gave up on them when they went on strike in the 90s (same with MLB) and have looked more a college football.

Well Auburn has a really young team this year so I'm not expecting another National Championship but its equally exciting to see a young team grow, even if they don't win every game.  I'm hoping they'll surprise us though.

Same here.  I'm just glad they got rid of big bird(Childress).  Mr. Fraizier seems like someone I would play for though.
