Need a puncture resistant pool float for the cat
« on: 02 Aug 2017 - 08:04:13 »
Any ideas?

He accidentally punctured his last one so, I'm looking for one that's a bit more resilient.
His name is Larry, he's a silver tabby and although he doesn't much like getting wet, he does like floating around in the pool on a float.
He will climb the ladder all on his own and stand there on the edge, waiting for someone to push a float over to him so he can get on.

Don't talk about what you have done (or what you
are going to do). Do it and let it speak for itself.

It would probably easier to make one out of cheap wood or bamboo or pool noodles.

A good sized foam board would probably be best idea.  Glue or tie a couple noodles on the top edges for additional resistance to capsize if he gets too close the edge.
